In this course, students will explore common diseases in the various body systems for companion animals. This course reviews the body defense systems, the body's response to disease, immunity, clinical signs, diagnostic tests, laboratory tests, treatment, prevention, and client information. The role of the veterinary technician in diagnoses, treatment, and client communication are areas of focus.
