This course is designed to introduce students to insurance billing using the CMS1500 and the UB-04. Through lecture and laboratory exercise, the student will learn all aspects of submitting, tracing, appealing, and transmitting claims to multiple health care plans. This coursework will also include implementing patient information and creating insurance claim forms.
